New Resource: Cross-Profession Combos!

by Guardian on Aug 03, 2012 at 10:51 PM
KT is happy to announce another wonderful addition to our resource pages: Cross-Profession Combos. This new resource offers a one stop shop for information related to possible skill combos that can be triggered among the different professions in Guild Wars 2. You will find a set of pages dedicated to each profession. These pages are structured to make it easy to identify and learn what combos each profession can do by themselves or when paired with others.

Combos in Guild Wars 2 can quickly turn the tide of the battle! When creating individual builds and team compositions those that make use of combos will have a big advantage over those that don't.

This is just one of many tools that we have put together here to help our community. We hope you enjoy it! Be on the look out for more features, updates, and resources as we prepare ourselves for release of Guild Wars 2!

From what I have seen in the beta weekends people don't really seem to notice how awesome the combo's are, but I have a feeling they are going to make or break groups in harder pve content and sPVP. This guide is amazing!

Great write-up! It's amazing how intricate the GW2 combat system can be yet they still managed to make it look simple in the UI.

If anyone wants them, I found these images handy.

A few missing on those images but, thanks for sharing!

What's missing? Did you expand them? They're cut-off at the bottom and right while in-line.

I'll let the guy who made them know something is missing, maybe he'll update them.

Point him to our guide. There could be more but, a few right off the bat that are commonly missing in other guides are the leap skills for the Elementalist that come from the conjure elites. Tossing Elixir U for Engy has a random effects each with a different combo field. Engy detonate healing turret finisher and the Elite Elixir X finisher that can spawn as tornado.

Cool, i'll point him here.

On a side note: I can't wait to see how the theorycrafting community for GW2 evolves over time once the game is released. The combat system is so complex as you get deeper into it. I feel like I did years ago while playing WoW...it's so exciting!
