Hello to one and all,
I'm terrible at introductions, so I'll cut to the chase.

I plan on joining the Stormbluff Isle server and the KT guild (ie, if you'll have me).
I am 100 pct drama, gluten and soy free. I promise not to take myself too seriously. I will not crack dick jokes unless specifically asked to, to taunt enemies sieging our keeps.
I hereby pledge my name and sword (weapon subject to change according to profession) to be a loyal friend and stalwart defender of the Quaggan peoples.

Welcome Vox! I voted for gunslinging theif simply because it sounded much cooler than a normal Elementalist (it needed a fancier name ). Have you had a chance to play in any of the beta weekends and try out either class?

Yea, I did try both. I 've played as an ele in gw1, and I like the ele in gw 2 better. The ele has definite aoe potential in WvW while the thief is more of a scout/ harassing role in small skirmishes. Overall, I'm partial to the dual pistols/ shortbow build for thieves ( crit build). Might go ele first, thief later.

Sword/pistol would make you a swashbuckler. Heck, if that's an option, I may roll one as an alt.

I dont think I'd be a good guardian, I like ranged professions. hence, dual pistols / shortbow on a thief. If the warrior could go dual pistols/ longbow I'd be all over it.

btw, which do you think will have a higher impact on WvW skirmishes, thief or elementalist ?

Elementalists are very strong in my opinion.. in damage and survivability so I think that makes them good in skirmishes and in bigger group play where their AoE and great combo options will be extremely helpful!

i guess that helped me reach a decision sooner than i expected. Ele for storyline and WvW, thief will be secondary till i feel comfy with it or grow tired of ele .

I haven't played much in a few months but I think Ele is one of the funnest to play. Welcome to the guild
